oh, how I love crafting!

I finally ordered a new sewing machine and it should arrive today!!! So very much excited about it!

and this is our next new project. I got a dollhouse kit, we will have to built it from scratch.

I thought this might be a fun project for me and the kids to do together.

not a real blogger

so, I keep trying this blogging thing, but just don't seem that much into it..

I just don't know what to post everyday, that is worth talking about.

Anyway, I had this idea for a new project and will try to post about it, once the kids and I get started on it. I'm waiting for the first item to arrive in the mail and will then update.

We took a spur of the moment trip to Disneyland. Hubby really doesn't get any vacation until he's been at his job for a year, which will be in late August. Since he is short staffed as well and we are just not sure when we will have time, we just decided to take the opportunity of two full days off and head on over to Anaheim, CA! The Park was BUSY! But we still had a great time.

I have also been reading a lot, but starting to slow down again.

Enjoyed "The Kings Speech", "Salting Roses" "Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet"

and I've read all seven Narnia books.

week two

starting my second week as a stay at home mom (part two)

had a wonderful stress-free day (apart from giving the cat her medications, but that's a whole story on it's own) cleaned my kitchen, did some writing and math practice with the boy, played Angry Birds (man is that game addicting - and I'm not into video games at all) and cooked dinner. (I know, so exciting *add eye-twitch*)

on a funny note, we finally let Boogie watch Transformers and now he's obsessed with it.

just like he was obsessed with Cars. During my parents visit we went up to the Hoover Dam and he was very much bored, UNTIL I told him that this is where the Cube and Megtron are being hidden in the movie. He thought the Hoover Dam is the coolest thing ever.

KAPUTT

well, my super cheap sewing machine from Target finally broke.

I'm not sure if I should be happy or sad about it as I'm in the middle of this project and planning the next one.

I always had issues with the tension of the thread on this machine and have been wishing for a new one for a long time. Hmm, will have to do some research on what will fit best into my budget.

on another note, my lucky girl got all new bedroom furniture from Ikea.

The only "old" piece left is the dollhouse bookshelf.

still some more decorating left to be done, I saw these great tissue paper pom poms on etsy, that you hang down from the ceiling. Also thinking about one of those vinyl stickers for above the bed, maybe a cute saying or once of those shadow chandeliers, not sure yet.

I am in LOVE with pictures.

when I read other blogs I mostly just look at the pictures, forget the writing. LOL

I love to look through Flickr and Etsy, I also love looking through my friends pictures on facebook. Guess I'm somewhat addicted.

Do you ever stumble across other people's blogs and are just fascinated with the photographs and or pictures posted?

back again

finally have time again to start over.

quit my job to be able to spent more time with kids and husband.

got a cat almost a week ago from the shelter, she is so adorable and we love her, took her to the vet yesterday and 4 different meds for her, oh and she's got no teeth right now. Giving the meds is soooooooo hard, almost cried today, not so much because of all the scratches I got on me now, but I know that the cat doesn't like it. poor little thing. Husband and Boy are stuffed up and I'm not sure if it's seasonal allergies or the cat.

kind of regretting taking her home right now, it will break my heart if I have to bring her back.

starting to think I have commitment issues, ( I know I don't just saying)
