so, I keep trying this blogging thing, but just don't seem that much into it..

I just don't know what to post everyday, that is worth talking about.

Anyway, I had this idea for a new project and will try to post about it, once the kids and I get started on it. I'm waiting for the first item to arrive in the mail and will then update.

We took a spur of the moment trip to Disneyland. Hubby really doesn't get any vacation until he's been at his job for a year, which will be in late August. Since he is short staffed as well and we are just not sure when we will have time, we just decided to take the opportunity of two full days off and head on over to Anaheim, CA! The Park was BUSY! But we still had a great time.

starting my second week as a stay at home mom (part two)

had a wonderful stress-free day (apart from giving the cat her medications, but that's a whole story on it's own) cleaned my kitchen, did some writing and math practice with the boy, played Angry Birds (man is that game addicting - and I'm not into video games at all) and cooked dinner. (I know, so exciting *add eye-twitch*)

on a funny note, we finally let Boogie watch Transformers and now he's obsessed with it.

just like he was obsessed with Cars. During my parents visit we went up to the Hoover Dam and he was very much bored, UNTIL I told him that this is where the Cube and Megtron are being hidden in the movie. He thought the Hoover Dam is the coolest thing ever.

well, my super cheap sewing machine from Target finally broke.

I'm not sure if I should be happy or sad about it as I'm in the middle of this project and planning the next one.

I always had issues with the tension of the thread on this machine and have been wishing for a new one for a long time. Hmm, will have to do some research on what will fit best into my budget.

on another note, my lucky girl got all new bedroom furniture from Ikea.

The only "old" piece left is the dollhouse bookshelf.

still some more decorating left to be done, I saw these great tissue paper pom poms on etsy, that you hang down from the ceiling. Also thinking about one of those vinyl stickers for above the bed, maybe a cute saying or once of those shadow chandeliers, not sure yet.

finally have time again to start over.

quit my job to be able to spent more time with kids and husband.

got a cat almost a week ago from the shelter, she is so adorable and we love her, took her to the vet yesterday and 4 different meds for her, oh and she's got no teeth right now. Giving the meds is soooooooo hard, almost cried today, not so much because of all the scratches I got on me now, but I know that the cat doesn't like it. poor little thing. Husband and Boy are stuffed up and I'm not sure if it's seasonal allergies or the cat.

kind of regretting taking her home right now, it will break my heart if I have to bring her back.

WOW, I never thought I say this! I'm a nail biter and with my new job wanted to look more professional. It's been three weeks, since I got the acrylics done, and I'm so happy I did it. Going back for a fill today. (skipped last week)

So, I've been working three weeks now. Love it still! LOL

DH is loving his new job too, at least I think so.

Kids are doing ok, the little one had some potty issues. But hopefully going into the new year this will stop.

I'm so grateful having found a job I love in the state of the economy. And this without sending only two applications. I really believe it's all about the right fit, and only you applying.

Went shopping yesterday for new shoes for work. They are very specific about the clothing/grooming standards. Oh, well nothing bad with looking good, right!

oh forgot, the kids love the Photo booth feature on the new mac. They took some really funny pictures.

And then the other picture is my jewelry stand. Love them. I didn't realize how many necklaces I had until I hang them all up. Like it so much more than just having them sitting in a box, all hidden away.

well, our computer got another virus and we couldn't get it to start up again. So we decided it's time for a new one. We had issues for a couple of years with the old one, but were holding off on getting a new one. I guess this was the final straw. DH went out and got a Mac. Still trying to find my around it, after having only used PC's in the past. So far I'm just LOVING it!

I'm getting really nervous about starting work on Monday - I can't believe I'm going back to work on MONDAY!

another thing that I had really wanted was something for my jewelry - storage wise. I had seen these jewelry trees before and liked the idea. I was thinking about getting one last year, but again was holding off. Well, I went out to the Brighton store and got one, and while I was at it, I got something for my earrings too(camera's battery just ran out, will have top post pic. later) , and also a new bracelet. Which I absolutely LOVE, been wearing it since I got it!

I also made a quilt and finished it and I'm even happy with the outcome! I also finished a quilt top that I had started last year (will have to make a picture still)

so maybe I think it's too early for Obama to get the Nobel Peace Price, but hey, why is everyone so negative about it. We should be happy for the guy. I feel like he is trying really hard - Bush had 8 years to fuck this country up, can we give Obama the same amount of time to get it right, PLEASE!!!!!! And them maybe some, some of the issues were already starting in the Clinton administration.
Ok, just really had to get this out, and just didn't want to put on my FB - too many issues with revealing your political points - I don't think anyone is really reading this anyway.
As a european I feel like Obama had done a hell of a job already getting the rest (well most) of it to respect the US and it's citizens again. And that is worth something to me. I know a lot of Americans give a SHIT about what the rest of the world thinks about them and that's what most of the world thinks of americans.
Ahhh, feel so much better now!

just been reading some of the blogs that I follow and most of them have these great fall pictures.
Ahhh, I really miss the changing of the seasons here - fall colors and spring colors are just the best. (minus the allergies of course!) At least I can see everyones wonderful pictures on the internet.

In one month I'll be back to work - I'm getting really nervous. I know what to do in my old job, but it's a new company, new people, new programs & policies. I'm sure it'll be just fine, but still very excited and nervous.
On the nervous part, trying very hard NOT to bite my nails. Gotta have nails. Will I ever stop being a nail biter?????

I got a job! I'm so excited about going back to work - and about the hotel where I will be working! I have to go in on Thursday night to sign the offer letter. This is a management job with a new hotel that's opening in the city and the hotel company has 5-star hotels all over the world.
I know I will miss my little ones, but I'm just so excited right now!

I'm so excited - I got a call from one of the applications I put in over the weekend and I'm going for an interview tomorrow! So very excited and nervous - it's been a while since the last interview. Oh man, and a good company & job! Would really love to get that one. Will be lots of hard work, no doubt about it, but so well worth it.

Booked a Hair appointment for the morning and hoping that I can get my nails fixed too!

On the sad note, the second application I put in - for a lesser job than the first one no less - I already got rejected per e-mail! Hate these really big companies!

So would love to work in a nice sweet little boutique hotel or even B&B!

Oh well.

Yahooo! Bin zum Vorstellungsgespraech eingeladen!!! Yipeeeee! Bin aufgeregt und nervoes.

Hab mich da erst am wochenende beworben, heute einen anruf bekommen und stell mich morgen vor! Super Hotelkette, der Arbeitsplatz waere wirklich super, vor allem nachdem ich schon fast 4 Jahre nicht mehr arbeite!

So, hab mich noch fuer nen anderen Arbeitsplatz beworben und auch gleich ne Absage per e-mail bekommen! Hasse diese riesen grossen Arbeitgeber.

So, morgen geh ich auch erst mal zum Frisoer und hoffentlich kann ich mir auch die Naegel machen lassen. Muss unbedingt aufhoeren zu beissen!

lately I've been trying to scrapbook while not spending a fortune on it. I try to keep my layouts really simple. I've made these two recently.

I might have to stretch my supplies more since DH just got laid off from work.

I sometimes wish I didn't quit my job almost 4 years ago. But then again, I'm very happy that I did. I'm so very happy that I was able to spend my time with my two little ones instead of having to worry and go to work. And especially just leaving them at Daycare.

I already put in application for a job yesterday and will put in another today. We'll see what happens, I haven't had any luck the last couple of times I tried to go back to work.

I'm just really hoping that DH will find a job that pays as much (or close to - or hey, maybe even more) than his last job.

First Day of First Grade

I had the best intention on keeping writing this blog again, but before you know it and another couple of weeks went by. Oh well.

I've made an apron from the "A is for Apron" Book (it's the provence smock) and sorry, I didn't get around yet to take a picture! I'll try and have my little girl take one for me. She loves to take pictures! Oh, one of the down things with my new camera is that it wont recognize the picture directly from the camera and I have to download them to the computer first.

M. is in first grade now! We went to the meet and greet with the teacher the Friday before School started, and I wasn't to enthusiastic about the teacher, and now after two weeks of school and still not too crazy about her. The bad thing is that M. says she doesn't want to go to school, while she truly enjoyed it last year. I guess it just takes adjusting after going half day to full day and a new teacher and being home all summer!

ooops, hab mal wieder vergessen zu schreiben. Hab's mir wirklich vorgenommen, aber dann ist's schon wieder vergessen. Na ja,

So, hab auch endlich mal 'ne Schuerze fuer mich gemacht, muss aber noch 'n Foto machen. Ich frag M. die fotografiert so gerne.

M. ist jetzt in der ersten Klasse und wir haben die Lehrerin am Freitag bevor Schulanfang getroffen. Ich war irgendwie nicht so total von ihr begeistert. Und M. hat auch ein paar eingewohnungs probleme. Letztes Jahr ist sie so gerne in die Schule und dieses Jahr nicht so gerne. Neue Lehrering, laengerer Schultag und dann war sie denn ganzen Sommer zuhause.]

Ich hoffe das wird bald besser.

OMG - first grade

Ich kanns kaum glauben, aber am Montag kommt meine kleine Tochter in die erste Klasse. Hier in den Staaten hat sie ja eigentlich schon das erste Jahr hinter sich mit Kindergarten (Vorschule)

So, jetzt mach ich mich dann endlich mal dran mal zu schauen was ich ihr so zum essen einpacken kann. Mir ist es lieber ich geb ihr was mit, anstatt dass sie dass Schulessen isst!

Hab auch endlich mal wieder etwas genaeht - naemlich neue Bettwaesche fuer M's neues IKEA Puppenbett. Hab ihr den Stoff aussuchen lassen und sieht sehr schon aus. (muss noch ein foto machen)

WOW, I can't believe it, but on Monday my little girl is heading into first grade. I'm trying to look up recipe ideas for Lunches. I want to pack her lunch instead of having to get school lunches. I'm just thinking about me, I was always shy, and hating standing in line, by the time I got my turn, lunch/break was over!

Oh, I finally got sewing again, and made new bedding for M's new IKEA dollbed. It looks so cute, I let her choose the fabric and she made an excellent choice! (sorry, still have to take the pic!)

DH and I spent (almost) all day yesterday and re-writing his resume.
Man, I can't believe what hard work that is. In these times you need to get it just right to get enough attention on your resume so YOU can get that job and not someone who has a better looking resume.

We also got the new Wii Resort Game and it's so much fun. Our girl wants to take Archery lessons now. LOL

I'm back - we are back into the hang of things here after our 5 week trip to Germany.
Greg stayed home again as usual.
Now I'm trying to cram the pictures into a 8x8 scrapbook album.
Can you believe that I took some 350+ pictures!!!! I only got 150 printed and might not be using all of them in the album either.
Jakob is back into waking up at 5.30 am and the last couple of mornings he was asking for chocolate milk and a cheese stick for breakfast at that time. He still isn't fully potty trained, but we have been staying in most of the days and he is doing really good. I think it's my fault cause I'm afraid of having to clean up an accident while out somewhere, so I've been putting pull ups on him. And once he's got a Diaper on, that's where he's peeing & pooping! UGH!
Mina is her usual self and driving totally bananas!!!!
Oh, and Greg's golf club is about to run out of money and most likely closing down, leaving him without a job.
But life is good! Let's hope he finds a new job soon and all will be well!

I'm so sorry I haven't been bloggin in such a long time.

We had the in-laws here for Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time, and then after that my two girl cousins came to visit - they stayed through Christmas. I really enjoy having visitors here even tough it is kind of exhausting too. My mom sent cookies with my cousins - hmmm, what a wonderful treat to get "real" Weihnachtsplaetzchen (xmas cookies) all the way from Germany.

Yummy! They were gone in no time - LOL

I took the cousins for a drive to the Skywalk on/over the Grand Canyon West Rim. Man, was it cold that day, but what a view! Camilla and I went onto the skywalk, it wasn't all that bad, but none the less, I was glad getting off it too!

Anyway, so I'm looking/reading through all these new years superstations and am depating if I should be doing anything at all today?! I wanted to take a nice bubble bath and wash my hair, take the christmas tree and decorations down, and so on. Maybe I'll just wait until tomorrow!

I'll just grab a book and let the day be!

Tut mir wirklich leid, dass ich so longe nicht geblogged habe. Meine Schwiegereltern waren hier auf besuch fuer Thanksgiving und dann kamen meine beiden Kusinen aus Deutschland auf Besuch. War schoen mal jemand hier zu haben, auch wenns einen ganz schoen mitnimmt. Hmmm, die Maedels haben uns Weihnachtsplaetzchen von meiner Mama mitgebracht. Was fuer ein Genuss! Einfach Lecker, leider waren die viel zu schnell aufgegessen.

Ich bin mit Corinna und Camilla zum Grand Canyon Skywalk gefahren, Camilla und ich sind sogar drauf gelaufen! War gar nicht so schlimm, aber ich war trotzdem froh wieder auf "richtigem" Boden zu stehen. Und mann war das kalt an dem Tag!

So, heute hab ich mir mal durch Neu Jahrs Aberglauben durchgelesen, ich werde heute wohl doch nicht baden und Haare waschen und die Weihnachtsdekorationen lass ich wohl doch auch noch bis morgen haengen. Ich setz mich jetzt in die Ecke und less ein Buch!

another trip to the ER

well, two days after I took J. to the ER we had to go back again. He stuck a tic-tac up his nose. While M. was at Dance and we were waiting for her to finish he found them in my purse and asked if he could have one, the next thing I know he had it up his nose! And I couldn't get it out. When I called the Pediatrician the nurse said they usually just send people to the ER with this problem - GREAT! UGH!!!! Well, when the Doc look at him there, it had already gone. He said it either went all the way up and then he swallowed it back down, or it just dissolved!

I made a finished my girls xmas Dress (used the oliver + s playdate dress pattern) now I still have to get the boy some dressy clothes. And then we can head out for the holiday pics and some pics with Santa.

letzte woche war ich zwei mal mit meinem kleinen Mann in der Notaufnahme. Er hatte eine Halsentzuendung, und als er in der zweiten nacht mit extremem schmerzen aufgewacht ist, hab ich ihn da hingebracht und dann mussten wir zwei tage spaeter wieder hin, weil er sich ein Tick-Tack in die Nase geschoben hat! Ugh!

a trip to the ER

my little boy started having a fever Monday afternoon, and we had a very bad night Monday. Well Tuesday night at 11.30pm he wakes up and freaks me out, about his mouth hurting and his fever. Anyway, it's very hard to get a look at his throat, and I just wanted to make sure he's ok, so I took him to the ER. I was amazed at the Dr. who saw him! Dr. Nelson was AMAZING! He cheered my little boogie up and got a good look into this mouth/throat with a little trick. Well, it took him about 5-6 looks until he saw what was wrong, but he did get him to open his mouth wide enough. Anyway, boogie is ok, he's got a strep throat and got antibiotics. All should be well in a couple of days. I will miss out on my water excercise, but oh well.
I've been making some scrapbook pages again, and I also made a couple of doll outfits for Rosie.

I already decided what to get the kids for christmas and will make the purchses in the next couple of weeks. Already bought a tea set & some play cupcakes for my girl. Can't wait to see the beautiful Waldorf Doll that she'll be getting from her Oma. And the reaction Jakob will have over his "park tower"

Jakob is so cute when he dose this - I saw him do it the first time a couple of days ago. I don't know how he came up with it. But I love it, so cute! I really don't feel like blogging lately - lacking inspiration or just lazy. Not sure. I read all these great blogs and feel so bummed out, that I'm just not as good as some of these ladies. I can't figure out how to add all these listings to the sidebars, how to add music etc. Oh well, I don't think anyone is really reading my blog anyway. I am making a pair of pants for Mina and maybe I will pick up my knitting needles after that. It's starting to really cool down somewhat and it'll be nice to have a cute sweater that I made myself. Oh, almost forgot - I finally finished Mina's quilt! It's not perfect, but still quite nice!

Ich weiss, das Video ist seitwaerts. Weiss leider nicht wie & ob ichs drehen kann. Jakob ist so suess wenn er "super Jakob" macht. Laetzte Woche hat er damit angefangen, weiss nicht wo er das gelernt oder aufgegriffen hat. Zur Zeit hab ich einfach keine motivation und/oder lust zum bloggen. Ich lese so viele super blogs und bin dann immer ein kleines bisschen niedergeschlagen, weil ich da einfach nicht mithalten kann. Liest denn irgendjemand meinen Blog??? Im moment naeh ich 'ne Hose fuer Mina und dann will ich mir vielleicht nen Pullover stricken. Langsame kuehlt's hier wirklich ab, und waere schon 'nen Pulli zu haben, den ich selber gestrickt hab. Ach, hab ich fast vergessen, hab endlich Mina's quilt fertig gemacht. Ist leider nicht perfekt, aber trotzdem schoen.

One day I have the AC running, and the next I'm ready to turn on the heat. It's crazy!

I took the kids to the Disneystore yesterday morning, and I knew it'll be a little bit chilly outside and dressed them in long sleeves (and myself) but man, we could have so needed a warm Jacket. Didn't even cross my mind that it got that cold! Anyway, we got Jakob his Halloween Outfit, he's going to be Pit Crew for Lightning McQueen. He wanted to be Lightning McQueen from the Cars Movie, but I just don't like the costume. This one I can live with. I offered Mina to buy her a "Belle" (from the disney movie) Dress and she declined, I guess she's not into dressing up anymore. Anyway, not much else going on here. I made a little clutch purse, you can see the picture in my Flickr gallery. But I just finished this Shirt for Mina today, love how it came out - she picked the fabric. I wasn't sure about the bright yellow, but it actually looks very nice.

Temperatur Sturz - Am einen Tag hab ich die Klimanlage an und am naechsten (fast) die Heizung. Die Kinder und ich sind gestern frueh schnell zum Disneystore und ich wusste dass es kalt ist, und hab uns langaermelig angezogen, aber wir haetten 'ne warme Jacke gut gebrauchen koennen. Mann war das kalt! Wir haben da Jakob's Halloween Kostuem gekauft. Ein Lightning McQueen Pit Crew Outfit. Er wollte eigentlich Lightning McQueen vom Cars Film sein, aber das Kostuem gefaellt mir viel besser und ihm gefaellts auch! Ich hab Mina angeboten ihr das "Belle" Kleid zu kaufen, aber sie hat ABGELEHNT! Kaum zu fassen, sie ist schon aus dem Prinzessin spielen raus. So, sonst gibts hier nix neues. Sie hat den Stoff ausgesucht, war nicht so von dem grellen gelb begeistert, sieht aber doch ganz toll aus.!

kind of depressed today. It's not been a good week. Just feel like lying in bed and sleeping and crying, of course I can't do that - two little kids to take care of. Oh well, maybe tomorrow it'll be all better.

Fuehl mich etwas depressiert heute. War keine gute Wochen. Moechte am liebsten den ganzen Tag im Bett bleiben, schlafen und heulen. Geht aber nicht, hab ja zwei kleine Kinder auf die ich aufpassen muss. Na ja, morgen ist vielleicht besser.

Hab manchmal einfach keine Lust - ist doch irgendwie etwas aufwendig.
So, hab letzte Woche Mina's Teufelchen Kostuem fertig genaeht und dann gleich ein neues Kleid angefangen, dass heute fertig wurde. (Ueberleg mir, ob ich es mit Samt oder Satin in Rot zu Weihnachten machen soll?) Zwischendrinn tue ich dann auch mal sauber machen. Wie die Kinder es aber auch immer schaffen alles so schmutzig zu machen. Mein Kuechenboden ist nach dem wischen immer gleich wieder dreckig. Argh! Hab am Samstag an 'nem Gargenverkauf mitgemacht und Jakob's Playpen, Schaukel, Bumbo und noch ein paar Spielsachen, Kleider und ein paar von meinen Buechern verkauft. Geld hab ich auf die seite, spaar immer noch auf das Flexa Bett! Mal schaun wie lang ich brauch - so wie ich das Bett fuer ihn will kostet es etwas ueber $1300! - Und dann noch $99 fuer's liefern. Seufz.
Hab in Mina's Schule ausgeholfen - war etwas komisch - das erste mal in 'ner amerikanischen Schule. Die singen wirklich ihre Hymne und dann noch der Fahnenspruch. Wie im Kino!
Wassergymnatik macht immer noch spass, geh zweimal in der Woche waehrend Mina in der Schule ist, und Jakob geht dort in ein Spielzimmer mit Lehrerin/Aufpasserin.

sorry, didn't blog in a while - kind of seems to be too much work at times.
Well I finished Mina's Devil Costume and started with another Dress, which I finished today. (thinking about making another one in red velvet &/or satin for holiday time) And then in between I actually do a little bit of cleaning. It's just amazing how messy these kids are! I hardly finished mopping the kitchen floor and it's back to being dirty!
Did take part in a Community Garage Sale at one of the Rec. Centers on Saturday and actually enjoyed it! Sold our Playpen, Baby Swing Bumbo, some clothes and toys and some of my books. Put the money aside to save for the fabulous Flexa bed that I want to get for Jakob. I actualy went to the store a while back and got a quote on the way I want it - well - sit down for that one - it's a little over $1300!!!! Oh, plus the shipping is $99! I wonder how long it's gonna take me to get the $ together? But that's ok, I'm waiting till all the visitors left anyway. My cousins are coming to visit in December! And my mom keeps hinting that they are thinking about coming in January or February! Would be so great to have some family here!
Oh, did volunteer at Mina's school one day - I actually spent a day in a US School - so exciting - they really do the anthem and pledge - just like in the movies! LOL
still doing my water workout and loving it, doing Tai Chi still too, am at #92 from 108 forms. After I finished learning all the forms I have to work on the timing - I'm always going way too fast.

since I blogged last. But I've been so busy sewing!

I have also just finished a book called "The Darcy Connection" - LOVED it. It's a conntinuation of Pride & Prejudice (which I'm in absolute love with anyway) I think I might have to get some more books by Elizabeth Aston now! LOL. Oh, I also got a BBC mini series on DVD called "Cranford" which I ended up watching in one day, cause I just couldn't wait until the next day!

Anyway, the pictures are of things I made recently. A dress for Mina, a dress for a Birthday Gift with matching hairbow (didn't turn out as good as I would have loved to) and a doll outfit matching, and then some cute little pants for Irene's coming Baby (BOY?)

Schon etwas her, als ich das letzte mal geblogged hab. Aber ich war ja so mit naehen beschaeftigt! Hab auch ein Buch gelesen von Elizabeth Aston, ist eine nachfolge fuer Stolz und Vorurteil. Dann hab ich mir auch eine mini Serie von BBC auf DVD gekauft, und hab dass dann in einem Tag angeschaut, weil ich nicht abwarten konnte was als naechstes passiert.

I finally got around to making a bag. I have some patterns sitting in my drawer for about a year now, that I still have to make. This one is made from the Amy Butler Birdie Sling Pattern.

Love how it came out. I need to make a smaller one next time, this one is kind of big. But perfect for going somewhere where we have to bring a lot of stuff along. It will fit everything.

Yesterday my aunt called asking me if it would be ok for my two cousins come to visit in their xmas holiday. Of course, I'm so excited someone is coming to visit!!! We hardly ever get anyone to visit here. My parents (try) to visit every two years, and my in laws come once a year. So, this would be just wonderful!!!!

Mina likes school and she's looking forward to going back after the holidayweekend!

I signed myself up for a water workout class, I'm excited but a little nervous, since I've never done any workout classes really. But hopefully this will help me to shep those 20 lbs I would really like to lose!

Ich hab jetzt endlich mal eine Tasche gemacht. Seit ungefaehr einem Jahr hab ich Schnittmuster fuer Taschen in meiner Schublade, und hab bis jetzt noch keine gemacht. Diese hier ist vom Amy Butler Birdie Sling Schnittmuster. Ich find die ist schoen geworden. Naechstes mal muss ich aber 'ne kleinere machen. Die ist wirklich gross. Da passt aber dann viel rein, und das ist dann gut wenn wir wo hingehen wo wir viel mitbringen muessen.

Meine Tante hat gestern angerufen und gefragt ob denn meine beiden Kusinen ueber die Weihnachtsferien zu besuch kommen koennen. Aber natuerlich. Ich freu mich tierisch wenn mich hier mal endlich jemand besuchen kommt. Meine Eltern (versuchen) uns alle zwei Jahre zu besuchen und meine Schwiegereltern kommen einmal im Jahr.

Mina findet die Vorschule super und will dann nach dem verlaengerten Wochenende (am Montag ist ein Feiertag "Laborday") wieder rein!

Ich hab mich fuer eine Wassergymnastikstunde eingeschrieben - bin etwas nervoes, aber hoffentlich hilft es mir endlich diese 10 kg extra gewicht loszuwerden!

well, I know I'm kind of late- sorry. She's already been to school three (3) days! And the verdict is she really likes it! Here are some pictures of her on her first day of Kindergarten and one that shows the dress I made nicely. And then another one with Boogie - the two of them looks so cute together!

we went out to Cafe Heidelberg for Dinner tonight! YUMMY german food.
When I came out of Joanns today, this truck was parked next to me, and it had a "Bitte ein Bit" sticker on the back windshield! (It's a commerical for Bitburger Beer, a german brand). Anyway, a little glimpse of Germany and it made me homesick and wanting some german food & beer!
I spent the day making a new dress for Mina - for School tomorrow.
We went to the fabric store yesterday, and I saw this cute pattern and had to get it. While in Rome, I might as well pick up some fabric for it, right? And while we were paying for it, the lady asked if it is a dress for Mina's first day of school. And then I tought it could be - I can make it on time.! I'll post some pics tomorrow w/ her school cone and just first day of school.

wir waren heute zum Abendessen im Cafe Heidelberg. Gutes deutsches Essen!
Als ich heute aus Joanns (Stoff & Handarbeitsladen) rauskam, stand ein Auto neben mir mit einem "Bitte ein Bit" Aufkleber auf der Heckscheibe. Da hab ich gleich wieder ein bissschen Heimweh bekommen und hab den Greg ueberredet dass wir deutsch essen gehen!
Heute hab ich wieder ein neues Kleid fuer Mina gemacht - fuer ihren ersten Schultag morgen!
Wir waren im Stoff Laden gestern und da hab ich ein schoenes Schnittmuster gesehen, dass ich gekauft hab, und wo wir schon in "Rom" waren, haben wir auch gleich Stoff dafuer gekauft. Als wir dann gezahlt haben, fragte die Verkaeuferin ob es ein Kleid fuer Mina's ersten Schultag wird, und da hab ich mir gedacht: Warum nicht?

Mina's teacher

We went to Mina's school/Kindergarten today to meet with her Teacher. It's an offical meet & greet time with the teacher and schools here. We were very excited to meet Miss Popek and see Mina's classroom. The parents are NOT allowed in school on Monday, which I was bummed a little bit about. On my first day of school we started out with Church (as always in every grade) and then Parents and kids headed to their classroom, and then the teacher dismissed the parents for alittle bit and then the kids went home. Ahh, so many good memories

next topic - LOVE this Bed - it would be for Jakob!

How cool would this be for him? (His got my old full size bed, that I got 10 years ago when I moved to Boston) I would get him a full size bed, made the mistake of getting Mina only a twin Bed (should have at least gotten one with a trundle, but that didn't even cross my mind back then!)

The least expensive version of the bed (just a low loft w/ ladder is $606, and the nice version from the picture is $905!)

I'll start saving now! Maybe if I'm lucky I can get some grandparents to chip in?!

Oh, almost forgot, the beds are from Flexa (www.shopflexa.com) I think it's a danish company.

Wir waren heute in Mina's Schule und haben ihre Lehrerin (Fraeulein Popek) getroffen. Sie wirkt wirklich sehr nett. Hab mich dann an meinen ersten schultag erinnert. Hier ist alles etwas anders. Na ja.

Liebe dieses Bett fuer Jakob! Waere das nicht richtig toll fuer ihn? (Er hat jetzt mein altes Bett, das ich vor 10 Jahren, als ich noch Boston zog, gekauft hab) Ich moechte wieder ein 140cm grosses Bett nehmen, hab den Fehlter mit Mina gemacht und ihr nur ein normales Kinderbett gekauft! Die billigste Version (nur das Bett auf stelzen mit Leiter kostet $606, und die schoene version vom Foto kostet $905!)

Ich fang mal zu sparen an! Vielleicht hab ich ja Glueck und ein paar Grosseltern erklaeren sich bereit was dazu zu zahlen!?

let's start with my back - I'm in soooooo much pain. It goes away overnight and comes back in the morning. I've put a heating patch and/or hot water bottle on it. Just relax in the big chair in the living room (watching TV) or I just lie flat on the floor. It all soothes it, but doesn't really fix the pain. Sewing doesn't help, since I'm hunched over all the time. But I finally started on Mina's quilt! Then I got another new sewing pattern that I'm EXTREMELY excited about. I'm keeping a little secret on here too. Not sure if really anyone is reading my blog, but just in case. I had to order some new fabric too of course! New Pattern, calls for new fabric.

Mina is starting School (Kindergarten) in ONE WEEK! Greg wants to give her a little present, I told him I'm already doing the Schultuete (school cone) but he wants to get her something just from him. Oh a fathers love! He's thinking about a necklace and I'm jealous, I haven't gotten one from him yet! And we'll be together 10 years on Sept. 3rd! But again, the love between a daddy's and his little girl is just something special!

Ich hab extrem starke Rueckenschmerzen, die einfach nicht weggehen. Hab 'nen patch auf dem Ruecken probiert, hab 'ne Wasserflasche im Sessel gegen meinen Ruecken gedrueckt und mich flach auf den Boden geleget. Wenn ich aufwach fuehl ich kaum schmerzen, aber die kommen dann oft beim Fruehstueck schon wieder. Aber ich glaub dass kommt from Naehen, weil ich da immer mit 'nem Krummen Ruecken sitz. Dabei hab ich endlich Mina's Quilt angefangen und dann hab ich auch noch ein neues Schnittmuster (und dann natuerlich noch mehr Stoff bestellt) gekauft. Das wird ein GANZ TOLLES Kleid!

Greg will Mina ein Geschenk kaufen, weil sie in einer Woche mit der Schule (kindergarten = Vorschule) anfaengt! Ich hab ihm gesagt, dass ich ihr schon eine Schultuete gemacht hab, aber er will ihr was von sich kaufen. Ach die liebe eines Vaters fuer seine Tochter! Er moechte gern eine Kette kaufen, und ich bin fast etwas Eifersuechtig - am 3. Sept. sind wir 10 Jahre zusammen und ich hab noch keine Kette bekommen!

Mina mentioned the other day that she would really like on again. We got her a very little one about 3 years ago, and between her and Jakob they broke it. I've been looking online what I like and found some nice one's from KidKraft. The kids decided that they like this one the best. Of course it's discontinued and very hard to find. I ordered one, but I'm crossing my fingers that it will go through. (I didn't notice that it said it's discontinued on the site, but it did add it to my cart, so I'm not sure)

Mina hat gesagt, dass sie gerne wieder eine Kueche zum spielen haette. Sie hatte eine ganz kleine Kueche, die sie vor ca. 3 Jahren bekommen hat, aber zwischen ihr und Jakob ist sie kaputt gegangen. Ich hab auf dem Internet gekuckt was uns so gefaellt und hab schoene von der Firma KidKraft gefunden. Den Kindern gefaellt die Blaue am Besten. Natuerlich wird die nicht mehr hergestellt und ist schwer zu finden. Hab eine bestellt, aber bin mir nicht ganz sicher ob das wohl auch in ordnung geht. (Hab erst hinenach gesehen, dass es sagt ausser produktion, aber ist in meinen Einkaufswagen, muss halt mal warten)

I've lot 5 lbs after the first 9 days of my diet! Yipee!!!

Yesterday I didn't do so go, had a bite of Mina's donut, a couple of cheese puffs, a cinnamon sugar pretzel stick (or two) and a Dairy Queen Ice Cream cone (at least I shared it with the kids, but I took bites for each one, so I guess I kind of ended up with a whole) {oh, just remembered "the hungry carterpillar" he wasn't hungry anymore, he was very full}

I'm avoiding stepping on the scale (I'm not supposed to anyway) but I will try to hang in there.

I should also try to excercise, but I find myself at the sewing machine instead, oh well. One of these days. I finally got to make that dress for Mina in the light pink with white polka dots fabric. It's not quite finished. But here is a preview anyway, oh and a picture of my mom's finished apron. I called this morning, it didn't arrive yet, can't wait to hear how much she likes it. I'm a little concerned because the fabric kind of does look like my Oma's old bedsheets from 20+ years ago. But maybe that's why I like it so much?

On another note, the kids have been sleeping through the night in their own beds for at least a week. I keep waking up in my own bed - well, Jakob wakes me up - but it's nice that he comes into our bedroom - Mina at this age would just scream/cry in her room when she woke up. He just comes in and says in a cheerful voice "good morning mama" Such a sweetie.

5 pfund hab ich mit meiner Diaet soweit abgenommen. Aber gestern hab ich mich mit "schlechtem" essen vollgehauen! Hab von Mina's Donut abgebissen, hab ein paar chips gegessen, hab 'ne zimt/zucker weiche Bretze und ein Eis gegessen. {oh, da feallt mir "die hungrige raupe" ein - an diesem Tag war sie nicht mehr hungry - sie war RICHTIG SATT!} So, ich stell mich jetzt erst mal nicht mehr auf die waage, wenigstens fuer die naechsten paar tage. Ich sollte auch etwas mehr bewegung haben, aber anstatt auf's Laufband zu gehen, sitz ich halt immer an der Naehmaschine. Na ja. Ich hab auch endlich das Kleid fuer Mina mit dem hellrosa stoff mit weissen punkten gemacht. Hier ist ein Foto wie's im moment aussieht - ist noch nicht ganz fertig. Braucht noch Knoefe und den Saum untenrum. Aber hier ist schon mal ein Foto. Auch ein Foto von Mama's Schuerze. Hab heute angerufen, die ist noch nicht angekommen. Wunder mich schon wie's ihr wohl gefaellt, der stoff erinnert mich an Oma's alte Bettwaesche, vielleicht gefaellt mir der Stoff deswegen so gut.

So, die Kinder schlafen seit so cira einer Woche durch die Nacht, im eigenen Bett. Ich wach jetzt immer in meinem eigenen Bett auf! Jakob kommt in unser Zimmer wenn er aufwacht und sagt immer richtig lieb "guten morgen Mama"

are SLEEPING! What better time to blog than now! The kids went to bed late last night, I'm talking 10pm, when they are usually in bed by 8! We went out last night to watch an outdoor movie at the District. Mina, Jakob and I met up with our friends Venia and Lorelei to watch "Horton hears a who" Mina couldn't sit still - but we still had a great time. There is also a carousel and we took a ride before the movie started, Mina wanted to get back on with the lights on - I promised her we'll go again another day!

I finished my mom's apron and I absolutely LOVE it! Can't wait to make Mina a romatic dress or shirt out of the leftover fabric.

I'm so excited about getting a haircut tomorrow! Yahoo! Hurray, Yippee! My hair just looks frazzeled (is this the right word????) Anyway, it really needs a cut, I went the last time, just before we took our trip to Germany - So, that would have been end of February!

Oh, took the kids shopping yesterday - school/fall clothes - Mina tried on seven (7!) pairs of Jeans, until we found & picked out the right one! But I really want to make sure she likes them and they fit, otherwise she wont put them on, and it'll be a waste of money. Jakob got Jeans and a dress shirt - he looks so handsome, don't ja think? And while we were out I picked out a nice nightgown for me. It looks so vintagey (can I say that?) and I love it! Looks much better than those dingy old t-shrits I usually wear!

beide Kinder sind am schlafen. Jetzt kann ich am besten bloggen! Die Kinder sind gestern abend spaet ins Bett, um 10 Uhr abens, wo die doch sonst immer schon um 8 Uhr ins Bett gehen. Wir waren gestern abend aus und haben einen Outdoor Movie gesehen. Mina, Jakob und ich haben uns mit unseren Freundinnen Venia & Lorelei getroffen und haben uns "Horten hoert ein Who" angesehen. Mina konnte mal wieder nicht still sitzen aber wir hatten trotzdem spass. Die haben dort auch ein "altmodisches" Karusell, mit Pferden und anderen Tieren, da sind wir dann auch "gefahren" und Mina wollte unbedingt noch mal, als es dunkel war und die Lichter am Karusell andwaren. Hab ihr's fuer ein anderes mal versprochen!

Dann hab ich heute auch Mama's Schuerze fertig gemacht - sieht super aus! Kanns kaum erwarten Mina was aus dem uebrigen Stoff zu machen.

Ich geh morgen zum Frisoer - freu mich schon drauf, brauch auch unbedingt wieder mal 'nen schnitt, die Haare sehen ein bisschen verfranzt aus.

Dann waren wir gestern noch beim Einkaufen - Mina hat sieben (7!) paar Jeans anprobiert bevor wir die richtige gefunden haben. Aber ich will auch dass die dann richtig passt und ihr gefaellt, sonst zieht sie die ja nicht an. Jakob hat auch Jeans und ein Hemd & T-shirt bekommen, sieht richtig gut aus oder, der kleine Mann?

Ach ja, ich hab mir auch ein Nachthemd gekauft - besser wie immer diese alten T-shirts im Bett.

flash flood

while we were all out at the bookstore today a storm hit town, and since we live in the desert, the ground just can't take inn all the water that hits at once, and then we'll get a flash flood.

I found these pictures of our Neighborhood on the internet. The water was standing up to the sidewalk. I was quite hard driving through all the deep puddles and Mina got all excited about it, while Boogie (Jakob) was just his cool self. Just taking it all in.

On another note, I finished an outfit I made for my niece and I'm ready to start on my mom's apron. Then I'll make another dress for Mina, and maybe some time soon, I'll actually start the quilt for her.

waehrend wir heute alle im Buchladen waren, hat es richtig toll geregnet/gestuermt! Da gibts hier in der Wueste dann eine Flash Flood. Ich hab die Fotos von unserer Nachbarschaft auf dem Internet gefunden. Das Wasser ist bis auf den Gehweg rauf gestanden! Es war schwer zum Auto fahren, wegen dem ganzen tiefen Pfuetzen auf der Strasse. Mina war richtig aufgeregt und Jakbo war ganz ruhig.

Hab ein Outfit fuer Nora fertig gemacht und fang dann Mama's Schuerze an! Dann will ich noch ein Kleid fuer Mina machen, und dann irgendwann fang ich dann vielleicht endlich mit ihrem Quilt an!

Schultuete

I finished Mina's (and Jakob's) Schoolcone!

I started out with Poster board (20x27" - I think) from that I cut a 1/4 circle - the edges overlapped a lot, so I think even a 1/6th might be fine. Then I used this for a templete to cut out my fabric - I cut a little larger around the round edge, so I can fold it to the inside making the top edge covered in fabric. Then glue the posterboard together and form the cone - I just used duck tape (worked ok for me, but you can also attach some double sided tape to one side and then just form the cone that way). Next I covered it in Fabric, I have a sprayglue that I used all over the cone, I laid out the fabric and just rolled the cone over it. Making sure the edges were right. I glued two sheets of crepe paper to the inside - one on each side and making most of it stick out.

To decorate it a little I used a hot glue gun and some trim/ribbon. And I just tied it close with another piece of ribbon.

Hab Mina (und Jakob) 'ne Schultuete gebastelt.

Hab aus einem 50x70 cm grossen Bogen Tonkarton einen viertel Kreis ausgeschnitten (aber ein bisschen kleiner so 1/6 Kreis sollte auch ok sein). Hab's mit Paket Klebeband zusammengeklept, dann hab ich's mit Spruekleber besprueht und dann das Fabric rundrum geklept/gerollt. Mit 'ner heissen Kleber pistole hab ich dann schonen Baender ausenrumm drangemacht. Das Crepe Papier hab ich an der innenseite festgeklept und dann einfach mit 'nen Band zugebunden.

When children in Germany set off for their first day in school upon entering first grade, their parents and/or grandparents present them with a big cardboard cone, prettily decorated and filled with toys, chocolate, candies, school supplies, and various other goodies. It is given to children to make this anxiously awaited first day of school a little bit sweeter.

The tradition of the "Schultüte" leads back to approximately 1810, to Saxony and Thuringia in Germany. The first documented report of the cone-shaped Schultüte comes from the city of Jena in 1817, closely followed by reports from Dresden (1820) and Leipzig (1836). It started in the bigger cities but spread quickly to the small towns and villages, soon becoming an institution all over Germany.
At first the practice of the school cone, which did not spread to other parts of Germany at this time, was to not give the bag to the kids directly. Marked with the students' names, they were taken to the school by parents or godparents and in a ritual, reminiscent of the Mexican piñata, hung on a metal "Schultüten-Baum" (School cone tree) from which each child had to pick their cone, without breaking them. The story told to the children goes, that there is a Schultütenbaum growing at the school, and if the fruits (the Schultüten) are ripe and big enough to pick, it's time to go to school for the first time.

I'm usually in bed by now. LOL - it's 5 off 10pm!
I went to a playdate at Angelique's tonight and left to go to Tai Chi, put the kids to bed and worked/finished my scrapbooking (yes, I finally got a page, well two, done!) and posted it to twopeasinabucket.com
I'm really thinking about stopping the etsy shop - not worth the effort - I rather just sew for pleasure, and then maybe I can tweak some time to even crochet or knit again!! Or scrapbook!
Still loving my Tai Chi - so far I'm on form 62 or something like that. Hopefully by the end of the year I got all 108 forms down - and then I just need to learn to slow down!

So, ich denke wirklich daran meinen Laden auf etsy wieder zu schliessen - es it die Zeit einfach nicht wert! Ich tue lieber aus freude naehen, dann hab ich sogar wieder Zeit zum Haekeln oder Stricken, oder Scrapbooken! Ich geh immer noch gerne zu Tai Chi- bin jetzt bei Form 62 oder so. Hoffentlich hab ich bis zum Jahresende alle 108 Formen gelernt, dann muss ich nur noch lernen dass auch richtig langsam zu machen!

I did paint the Loft and I love how it turned out - Greg's not so sure about the color.

He said he might just have to get used to it. Oh well.

I'm going to start "the fat smash diet" on Friday (it's a newmoon and since it worked so good with the kids sleeping habit, I might just try and start new things with a new moon too!)

Unsere Familie ist wieder komplett. Mina und Greg sind gestern abend aus Neufundland zuruck gekommen. Zwar ohne Koffer, aber sie sind da. Der Koffer kam heute.

and my little boy at home. Greg and Mina made it safe to Newfoundland to pay Grandpa a surprise visit for his 70th Birthday! Which is today, so Happy Birthday Grandpa Lou!!!!
I was happy that Greg decided to take her along, I knew she'll have a great time! I miss her, but the house is no nice and quiet! Jakob and I went to my friend Anqelique's house for Dinner yesterday and we had a playdate today, we are actually having a good time! I've decided to paint the upstairs Loft and hallway, will be a great surprise for Greg. I'm going out in the morning to get the paint! Picked out a nice soft brown (not in a pink hue though this time!)

Nur Jakob und ich sind im moment zuhause. Greg und Mina sind sicher in Neufundland angekommen. Sie besuchen Grandpa Lou fuer seinen 70. Geburtstag - und der ist heute!

Hab ne schoene leichte braune Farbe ausgesucht (und diesmal wirkts nicht wie pink!)

I "stuck" him into a dress I made to model it for the shop. but I LOVE this dress, I think it's the best thing I made yet. Lot's of labor went into it, but am really happy how it turned out. Oh, I added the link to my blog into my profile - if anyone is interested. I'm really starting to love to create/sewing - it's so fun to see how the final product turns out! Oh, here's a pix of Jakob in the dress - I made sure not to show his face, he'd be so embarrassed. I actually had to bribe him with a lollipop - LOL (I know it's only 8 in the morning and way to early for sweets, but I really wanted to see the fit of the dress and how it looks on a person!)

Mina and her Daddy went to the Artful Potter yesterday. She really wanted to go back (I took her there twice before) and she wanted to go with Daddy. Greg actually enjoyed painting a platter, and Mina did a princess piggy bank. Can't wait to see how they turned out. And since I didn't want Jakob be left out, I took him to the store in the morning, and he got another little train set. He played with it all day yesterday, and I hear it running downstairs. It's a Thomas and Friends train from Trackmaster. He actually got "Salty" the train with tracks and a crane.

Heute mal anders rum - Hab meinen kleine Jakob in ein Kleid gesteckt um zu shen wie es denn an 'ner person aussieht. Ist das Kleid nicht suess? Ich glab das ist das schoenste was ich bis jetzt gemacht hab. Um Jakob dazu zu bringen, dass Kleid anzuziehen, musste ich ihm nen Lutscher versprechen, Ja, es ist erst 8 Uhr in der frueh, aber dass wars mir wehrt!

Mina und Greg waren gestern beim "artful potter" - Mina und ich waren da schon bevor aber diesmal wollte sie mit ihrem Papa hin. Mina hat eine Prinzessin Spardose bemahlt und Greg einen Teller/Platte. Bin schon gespannt wie die aussehen. Man bemahlt die sachen dort, und dann brennen die die Farbe rein, und dann kann man's abholen. Und damit Jakob nicht wieder ausgelassen wird, sind wir in der frueh zum einkaufen. Er hat sich 'nen Thomas und Freunde Zug ausgesucht und hat damit den ganzen Tag gestern gespielt. Und jetzt "laueft" er auch wieder.

konnte ich nicht schlafen, dabei war ich den ganzen Tag ueber so muede. Aber ich hatte dann zwei tolle Naeh Ideen! Ich hab nen Stoff mit Peter Rabbit von Beatrix Potter drauf und wusste nicht so recht was ich damit machen soll. Hab mir die Woche ein Schnittmuster fuer ein Kleid/Top von hier http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=13442603 bestellt.

Und hab natuerlich schon ein Kleid fuer Mina gemacht. Na ja, und wenn ich den Peter Rabit stoff in ein Top mach und dazu kurze Jeans Hosen, dann waere dass ein Prima Outfit!

Und dann hab ich mir noch ein weisses Top fuer mich ueberlegt. Aber erst muss ich fertig machen wass ich angefangen hab.

Am Montag hab ich auch meine neue Brille abgeholt, aber irgendwie ist es mir immer noch unagenehm wenn ich die auf hab. Muss mich halt noch daran gewoehnen, ist wieder etwas schaerfer als die alte. Mal schaun, kann mich einfach nicht erinnern dass es so lange dauert bis sich die Augen an 'ne neue Brille gewoehnen.

Gestern waren die Kinder und ich auf'm Spielplatz mit Wasserspritern - und meine Kinder wollen natuerlich nicht nass werden - und dass in der Hitze hier. Jetzt im moment ist auch die Luftfeuchtigkeit hoch und dann wirkt es noch viel heisser. Ugh, mag die Hitze im Sommer hier immer noch nicht.

Couldn't sleep last night, eventhough I was so tired all day - must be the new glasses or just the heat from the park. I took the kids to the water park, and of course they didn't want to go in the water. But it's so hot out, we have the humidity going on right now too, so that doesn't make it any easier. Oh, and I picked up my new glasses on Monday and I still have a hard time adjusting to them. I can't remember it taking that long. Hmmm, will have to wait and see, if it's not better by Monday and might just give them a call.

I also kept thinking about my sewing last night in bed, and I came up with what to do with that adorable Peter Rabbit Fabric that I have. I'll make a top and them some denim bloomers with it - oh, that'll be so cute. And I think I'm ready to make a nice white tank top for me. Oh, I got a new pattern from here http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=13442603 and of course I already made a dress for Mina from it! LOL

Oh, I just bought some other Fabric, am planning to make a nice Quilt for Mina! Will post some pics and details when the fabric is here.

Finished an outfit for a friends daughter and an apron for someone special. Started cutting fabric for a little dress for my etsy shop - can't wait to see what it looks like finished. I absolutely LOVE creating/sewing things - it's such a great feeling to see the finished product. I feel like a little kid getting a new toy. I just want to look and admire my work!

Hab die Fotos fuer den Stoff auf Flickr gefunden - sind die stoffe nicht schoen! Kann's kaum erwarten mir ein paar zu kaufen und was davon zu naehen.

Oh, und ich hab gerade erst noch stoff bestellt - will Mina 'nen Quilt machen. Mehr dazu speater.

natuerlich waren wir heute gleich nach Mina's Tanzstunde in der Mall, und die hatten meine Schuhe!!!!!!!! Leider nur in gold oder weiss - hab mir die genommen - Oh, und die waren im Angebot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wir hatten heute ein Playdate und da hab ich mich entschlossen, mal 'nen Blechkuchen zu backen. Hab 'nen Streuselkuchen mit Birnen gemacht, wurde sogar rightig gut!

War ein prima nachmittag mit so vielen Freundinnen & Kindern im Haus. Wir haben den Kinder die Fuesse bemalt und dann Fussabdruecke in Flip Flop blider gemacht. Hier ist ein Foto von Mina's.

Of course we went to the mall after Mina's Dance Class - and guess what I got the shoes!

They were on sale too!!!! They only had white or gold, and I got the gold - they are kind of fancy, so lets got fancy all the way and get gold!!! Love em!

We had a playdate today, and I decided to try and make a cake out of the "Bayrishes Kochbuch"

and it actually turned out really good (other than the cake I made for Jakob's first Birthday, that was a DISASTER!)

It was a great afternoon with so many friends over, and we did a craft - we painted the kids feet and made a little flip flop art out of the footprint (the picture is of Mina's)

hab jetzt den ganzen sommer - na ja so weit wenigstens - immer die gleichen alten Flip Flops from letzten Jahr an - ICH WILL NEUE SCHUHE!!! Hab mir zwar richtig schoene Heidi Klum Flip Flop daheim gekauft, aber ich heb mir die fuer besondere zeiten auf (hab die nur selten an, damit die sich nicht gleich im ersten sommer auslatschen)

Und dann hab ich die hier gesehen, und die sind schon vergriffen!!! Ich hab die aber im Laden gesehen, und probier's mal morgen ob die die noch in meiner groesse haben!!! (Die schwarzen sind die die ich will und die anderen sind die Heidi Klum Schuhe)

Shoe obsessed! MUST GET THESE ONES!!! Am getting sick and tired of the same old flip flops I've been wearing so far - need some new ones and I LOVE these shoes. Seems like they are in high demand, cause I can't find them online. Have seen them in the store and will look if they might still have them in my size tomorrow - MUST GET SHOES _ LOL

I know I just bought a nice new pair of Heidi Klum Flip Flops while in germany, but I am keeping them for special occaisons - If I wear them all the time this summer, they are not wearable again next year and they are way too nice! (the black ones are the ones I want, the other are my fancy and beloved Heidi Klum shoes)

hab fuer Mina's puppe Elizabeth ein paar Kleider genaeht - auf Mina's wunsch. Sie hat den Stoff dazu ausgesucht. Sind wirklich schoen geworden, schoen bunt auf jeden fall. Hab erst aus 'nen stoff die Hose genaeht aber dass war dann doch etwas zu hippie. Da hab ich erst mal noch jeans stoff gekauft und dann da die Hose draus gemacht.

Ach ja, am Montag waren wir alle (!) im Kino, wir haben uns "Walle" angeschaut! Wir waren uns nicht sicher ob Jakob vielleicht doch etwas zu jung zum Kino ist, aber er war so gut. Er hat sich auch schon richtig darauf gefreut Wallie zu sehen, weil da immer die Vorschau im Fernsehen kommt.
Heute waren wir kurz in der Outlet Mall beim Strip und ich hab die Kinder was aussuchen lassen im Disneystore - Mina hat 'ne neue Prinzessin Puppe weil wir die alte in Rothenburg verloren haben und Jakob hat sich natuerlich neue Autos (Cars- Lightning McQueen, etc.) ausgesucht

made some doll cloths for Mina's Doll Elizabeth - as requested by her. She picked the fabric, and they turned out quite nice and colorfull! First I made pants out of the fabric too, but that got a little too hippie, so we went and got some denim - way better!

Oh, I forgot to mention that we all (!) went to the movies on Monady. We weren't sure how Jakob's gonna do, since he's still kind of young for the movies. But he did so good! He was so excited too about seeing Wallie, since he had seen the previews on TV.
Today we went to the outlet mall and I let the kids pick something out at the Disney Store, Mina got a new princess doll, since we lost her other one in Rothenburg and Jakob got new "Auto" cars from the cars movie!

meine Naehmaschine und ich sind auf Kriegspfad! Die untere Fadenspannung ist meistens immer falsch und sieht ehlend aus. Ich hab - oder tue das staendig veraendern, hab alles probiert und weiss einfach nicht woran es liegt. Na ja, damit muss ich auskommen.

Ausserdem HASSE ich Knopfloecher, brauch halt noch mehr uebung! Ich wuenschte ich haette eine von den Maschinen die dass fuer Dich macht.

Hab Mina's Bluse fertig gemacht, und das ist ein Foto von meiner Maschine!

My sewing machine and I are on a hate-love relationship. I love her, she hates me.

My lower tread tension is constantly off, and every thing I try to fix it doesn't work.

And then all over sudden it's fine, and then it's not. Not sure what the heck is going on with that.

And I just found out, that I absolutely HATE doing button holes. I whish I had one of those fancy machine's that just does it for you. Well not this one.

Mina's Kleid ist fertig. Ist so suess. Moechte gerne noch mehr machen, aber wozu?

Wenn ich das verkaufen moechte, muss ich 'ne lizenz kaufen fuer jedes kleid, und das wird dann zu teuer. Ich wuerde das Kleid nicht fuer $50-60 kaufen.

Mina's dress is finished. The fabric has "dick & jane" on it, so cute. Love to make more, but what for?? Oh, and if I'd want to sell these I have to buy a licence which is $6 per item made. That would put the ready dress with cost for my making at $50-60. I wouldn't even pay that much!

gestern hab ich die Kinder mit zum Foto Studio genommen.

Mach ich alle halbe Jahre um zu sehen wie die Kinder wachsen - in schoenen Fotos.

Gestern war ich leider mit den Studio gar nicht zufrieden.

Bin da immer hin als Mina noch klein war, hab aber dann ein anderes Studio ausprobiert und war damit mehr zufrieden. Gestern hab ich mir gedacht ich probier das alte noch mal, war aber dann doch ne schlechte idea. In zukunft geh ich wieder zu Portrait Innovations.

Leider hab ich keinen Scanner und die geben dir da (Picture People) die Disc mit den Fotos nicht, hier ist also ein Foto von den Fotos.

Oh, und die Kinder waren beim Frisoer falls man dass nicht erkennt!

I used to go there but then tried Portrait Innovations and like them so much more.

Well yesterday I thought I give the first place a shot again, and was disappointed,

so much so, that I will never go back. The pics turned out ok, but they took only few compared to the other place and the price was the same (even with a 25% off coupon)

Anyway, I took a picture of the photos since I don't have a scanner)

Mina hatte heute morgen Vorschulstunde und heute abend Yoga. Waehrend ihrer Schulstunde war ich mit Jakob auf dem Spielplatz!

Es ist jetzt so um die 100-108 Grad Fahrenheit - es it offizeller Sommer is heiss wie die Hoelle.

Mit dem Amoxillian (antibiotica) dass ich im moment nehm, bekomm ich auch nen ganz komischen nebeneffect. Sobald ich in der Hitze bin, ist es wie als ob ich vielen Nadeln gestochen werde. Ugh!!!

So, Mina hat sich 'nen Stoff rausgesucht und hab jetzt schon mal das Oberteil vom Kleid fertig, kanns kaum erwarten das fertige Kleid zu sehen.

Ach ja, gestern abend waren wir auch endlich mal wieder OHNE Kinder aus! Danke an Angelique fuers Babysitting!!! Wir waren im Mandalay Bay Casino - leider mal wieder nichts gewonnen!

Und dann in http://www.townsquarelasvegas.com im Brio Restaurant zum Essen.

While Mina was at the school class I took Jakob to the Park - well, it's officially Summer and hot as hell! It's about 100-105 deg. F. And of course I get this weired side effect with the Antibotica I'm taking. As soon as I'm out in the heat, my skin feels like pins and needles are going through it.

Oh, I finished the bodice on Mina's dress. She picked the fabric out of the little stack I have lying around. Can't wait to see what it's going to look like once it's finished.

Greg and I went out last night! Was LONG overdue. Thanks Angelique, for watching the kids.

We gambled at Mandalay Bay (sorry, again no winnings) and then headed over to Town Square (a new outdoors mall) and had Dinner at Brio.

hab das auf meinem Computer gefunden, ist Mina als sie ein Jahr alt ist, also vor fast ziemlich vier (4) Jahren! Da war sie ja noch sooooo suess! Versuch immer noch das Kleid zu naehen, hab jetzt schon mal den Stoff ausgeschnitten. Morgen faengen Mina's vorschulstunden wieder an, und ihre tanz und yoga stunden. Jakob hab ich auch fuer eine Klasse einegeschrieben, aber bei ihm muss ich mit. Die stunde ist zur gleichen zeit wie Mina's. Mal schauen wie's ihm gefaellt!

meine neuen Schnittmuster sind endlich da. Probier ich gleich mal morgen aus, heute ist's schon zu spaet. Hab ausserdem heute schon viel genaeht. Hab meine neuen Fat Quarters schon fertig.

Schau mal, hier ist der Quilt mal nur ausgelegt, da kommt dann noch ne borte rundrum.

Mina ist heute nachmittag beim Fernsehen eingeschlafen. Wenn 'se schlaeft ist se richtig suess!

Ach ja, und ich war gestern beim Arzt wegen meinen Halsschmerzen und hab Penicillin/Antibotica tabletten bekommen. Irgendeine Bakterien infektion.

so hier ist mal ein neues Foto von Mina & Jakob. Mina ist ja immer ziemlich selbststaendig und Jakob ist einfach lieb. Er sagt fast immer Thank you, wobei ich immer noch versuch dass Mina beizubringen. Hab auch angefangen meinen Shop auf Etsy fertigzumachen. Muss aber noch etwas daran arbeiten.

Just another new pic of the little ones. They are growing way too fast. Mina is pretty selfsufficent and Jakob is just a darling. He pretty much always says Thank you, while I'm still trying to teach Mina. I also started setting up my online shop on Etsy, but still needs a little bit of work.

tja, bin immer noch am naehen. Hab jetzt mal 'ne Hose probiert. Brauch aber noch ein T-Shirt in der passenden groesse. Hab auch mal wieder probiert zu quilten! Mir hat der Stoff so gut gefallen, da hab ich mal ein paar "FatQuarters" gekauft - jetzt muss ich mehr kaufen, damit dass auch ein richtiger Quilt wird.

Ich hab einen Rock mit T-shirt fuer eine Freundin als Geburtstagsgeschenk fuer ihre Tochter gemacht, dass hat ihr so gut gefallen, dass sie ein Foto davon auf dem Message Board von unserer Muttergruppe gezeit hat. Da haben mich die Maedels endlich ueberzeugt, dass ich dass vielleicht doch mal verkaufen sollte. Heute hab ich auch schon die erste Bestellung und bezahlung bekommen!

wir haben Mina's Geburtstag bei Club Libby Lou gefeirt und sind dann danach zu uns nach hause. War ein wirklich super Geburtstag. Wir waren um 13 Uhr bei Libby Lou, und die letzten Gaeste sind bei uns erst um sieben Uhr abends weg! Den Maedels hat's total viel spass gemacht!

Ich war gestern mit den Kindern einkaufen.
Wir hatten Coupons fuer Build a Bear for $ 45!!!! Und ich wollte noch nen neuen BH.
Na ja, die Kinder haben ihren Baer & Affen gemacht (ich musste noch fast $20 draufzahlen)
Baer/Affe je $18, ein outfit fuer jeden je $12 und dann natuerlich noch die Steuer drauf.
Tja, ich hab mir dann doch noch keinen BH gekauft, aber ein neues Kleid.
Mann, mein Bauch steht so raus, dass ich mir gleich noch so ne Unterhose gekauft hab, die den Bauch reindrueckt. Und dann sind meine Hueften auch noch so weit!!!!!!!!
Ach je! Das Kleid ist groesse "S" und die Unterhose hab ich in "M" gekauft, aber "L" waere wahrschleinch besser.
Und dass problem mit dem BH ist auch so eins. 34B ist zu klein und die naechste groesse 36C ist zu gross!

was wir nicht alles mit unseren Kindern unternehmen.
Ich hab gerade daran gedacht, wie ich mit der Mina im Januar zu Disney on Ice bin.
Das hat mit uns Kindern niemand gemacht! Gab es dass da denn ueberhaupt?
Ausserdem bin ich ja vom Land, da gibts das denn doch nicht.
Aber ich bin froh, dass ich das alles mit meinen Kindern machen kann.
Auch die Tanzstunden und Yoga Stunden die Mina nimmt. Dass macht ihr wirklich spass.
Aber ob sie mir es auch dankt??!
Man versucht die Kinder zu seinem besten verstehen zu erziehen, aber wie die dann am ende werden ist doch unsicher!?

war beim Chiroge (sp?) zum check up, und ist alles ok.
Mina hat wieder ihre Vorschulstunden angefangen.
Immer Montag & Mittwoch von 9 bis 12 Uhr. Und dann noch Yoga und Tanz.
Ich mach auch wieder mit Tai Chi weiter.
Greg ist schon ganz gebraeunt vom vielen Golf spielen.

haben wir Jakob's (auch Mina's) Kinderbett in die Garage gestellt, die Wickelkomode wird bald folgen. Schon komisch, so langsam gehen die ganzen Babysachen aus dem Haus. Ein bisschen wehleidig macht dass schon. Aber auf der guten seite ist jetzt mehr Platz in Jakob's Zimmer.

So, mein Mund verheilt ganz ok. Ich hab sogar stiche vorne bei den Zaehnen nebem dem der raus musste. Also ist auf der linken unteren seite, der zweite von hinten musste raus. Und dann hab ich stiche im Zahnfleisch und der Mund/das Kinn vorne links fuehlt sich immer noch taub an. Dass kann auch so bleiben, wenn ich pech hab. Am 1. Mai muss ich zur nachuntersuchung.

wir sind wieder daheim in Las Vegas. Tja, mir fehlt Deutschland immer, aber fuer die Kinder ist hier halt nun mal daheim.

Den Kindern hats soweit aber in Detwang ganz gut gefallen, die konnten in Pfuetzen huepfen, haben schnee gesehen und wir haben auch versucht schlitten zu fahren.

War auch schon wieder beim Oral Surgeon und hab mir die Zyste/Tumor rausmachen lassen. Heilt soweit ganz ok. Mal schaun. Bin noch etwas muede von den Painkillers, Penicillin und die anderen Pillen die ich schlucken muss. Weiss gar nicht fuer was die gut sind

aber in einer Woche sind wir daheim. Mal wieder ohne Greg (das ist das 5te Jahr ohne ihn)
Ich bin ja so aufgeregt.
Ich hab immer so heimweh, dass ich mir alle paar wochen ueberlege ob ich nicht alles hier stehn und liegen lass und einfach heimzieh! (Die Kinder kommen auf jeden fall mit mir mit!!)

Mein Tai Chi laueft ganz gut und ich will auch wieder weitermachen, wenn wir zurueck kommen.

kein Krebs!!!!

Man, hab ja doch etwas angst gehabt, ist aber alles klar.

Der kleine Tumor/Zyste unter dem Zahn #19 muss aber raus.

Da muss dann jetzt erst der Zahn raus, und leider muss dann da ein "falscher" Zahn rein!

Na ja, damit kann ich leben! Muss dann wieder zum Chirogen am 22. April.

Will erst mal meinen Urlaub bei Muttern geniessen!

Soo, dann hat mein kleiner Neffe dann auch endlich das Licht der Welt erblickt!

Dass ging so schnell, dass dies gar nicht zum Krankenhaus geschafft haben, also ist der kleine RUBEN JOHANN ein richtiger Detwanger!

Nachthemd

Had das Nachthemd mit Unterhosen fuer Mina gemacht. Die Hose mag sie gar nicht, schade, aber die ist halt so. Eigentlich wollte ich aus dem Stoff einen Quilt machen, aber das hier ist besser.

So, die ganze sache mit der Mund Chirugie und der doofen Krankenversicherung macht mich ganz "krank". Und dann kanns ja auch immer noch sein, dass ich Krebs habe. Oder wenn die dann doch noch alles rausmachen muessen, oder wenn sich dass dann entzuendet.

Tja, und ich kanns kaum erwarten endlich wieder daheim zu sein.

Mina's Schulanfang (Kindergarten) im Sommer macht mich auch total verrueckt. Ich versteh das Schulsystem hier nicht, die Schulen sind gross (ihre Schule sind ca. 780 Kinder) Ich will sie auch hier nicht mit den Bus fahren oder laufen lassen. Die Schule ist nicht zu weit, man koennte laufen. Aber wenn ich jetzt wieder arbeite, wie geht das dann. Privat Schule fuer den Tag waere mir doch am liebsten, aber die kostet $10000 im Jahr und dann das gleiche noch mal fuer Jakob. Da brauch ich wirklich nen Job der VIEL zahlt. Mal schaun. Abwarten, Kuchen essen :)

Oral Surgery and Health Insurance

ich hatte dann am 31. Januar endlich meine Mund Chirugie und leider konnte der Arzt nicht die ganze Zyste rausmachen. Die sitzt genau unter der Wurzel von Zahn #19 und dann ist da auch noch ein Nerv. Er hat nur etwas rausgemacht, und das ist jetzt im Labor zum testen. Ich muss am 14. Feb. zur nachuntersuchung hin, und dann sagen die mir bescheid was denn der Test ergeben hat. Heilen tut alles soweit ok, und ich brauch auch (fast) gar keine schmerzmittel mehr. Hab aber 'n grossen blauen fleck am linken Kinn. Na ja, da muss ich jetzt durch!
Und dann hab ich jetzt auch noch ein Dilemma mit der Krankenversicherung. Ich hab ein schreiben bekommen (am Montag in der Post, das schreiben hat das datum 30.Jn.)
Tja, die wollen nicht fuer die Mundchirugie bezahlen.Ich muss jetzt einen "Appeal" schreiben.
Ich war zwei naechte schlaflos und ganz aufgewuehlt deswegen.
Die operation kosted zwischen 2000-3000 US dollar.

Mina war am tag nach Jakob's Geburtstag krank mit Magengrippe, dann bin ich mit der Magenkrippe krank geworden, und Greg auch. Mir war so schlecht, dass ich den ganzen Tag nicht aufstehen konnte. Mina war an dem Tag prima! Sie hat super geholfen. Tja, heute nacht ist sie mit Fieber aufgewacht, und sie ist ganz hysterisch (sp?) Mal sehen wie der Tag heute so wird.

Hab auch ihr Osterkleid fertig gemacht, mit ner kleinen Tasche!

Die "terrible two's" sind auch da, und er will jetzt auch mehr reden.

Er versucht jetzt immer saetze zu machen, oder er tut wenigstens 2-3 woerter zusammen.

scrapbook fieber

Hab endlich mal wieder einige Scrapbook pages gemacht.

Hier ist das Beste - Mina in ihrem Hexenkostuem! (Hab ich gemacht!)

Letzten Freitag hat sie mir 'nen ganz schoenen schrecken eingejagt.

Sie ist am Waschbecken im Klo gestanden auf Jakob's Potty. Da ist sie dann abgerutscht und hat sich das Gesicht am Waschbecken angeschlagen. Sie kam blutig aus dem Klo gerannt und konnte sich vor lauter schrecken gar nicht beruhigen. Die dicke lippe war nach drei Tagen abgeklungen und jetzt hat sie nur noch leichte blaue Flecken. An der Backe und unter dem linken Auge.

so nennt die Mama den Nikolaus auch, oder ist es Kencht Ruprecht. Ist alles irgendwo doch der gleiche. Aber den Namen hab ich fast vergessen. Die Mina und der Jakob haben heute frueh ein Geschenk und Schokolade from Nikolaus im Stiefel bekommen und dann hat sie mich gefragt, wo denn der Nikolaus wohnt, und als ich gesagt habe Nord Pol, da sagt sie, dass da aber der Santa Claus wohnt und der Nikolaus kann da nicht auch wohnen. Hm?

Geburtstag und Thanksgiving

alleine! So, Greg musste den ganzen Tag an meinem Geburtstag arbeiten, und an Thanksgiving muss er auch arbeiten, aber nur bis zum spaet nachmittag. Mal sehen wie das wird.

Angelique, war so lieb - wir sollten uns aufm Spielplatz zu lunch treffen und sie hat noch ein paar Freundinnen (Angela E., Venia u. Kani) angerufen die auch kamen. Angelique hatte sogar fuer Mimosa's und Kuchen gesort.!

Die Mama hat mir zum Geburtstag einen Filz Kit geschieckt, und denn Herzanhaenger hab ich daraus gemacht. Jetzt versuch ich mal nen Schneemann und nen Christbaum zu machen.

Mickey Mouse Hamburger

wir waren gestern im Supermarkt und haben diese Mickey Mouse Hamburger gesehen. Und die Kinder wollten die natuerlich auch. Das war dann gestern abendessen. Dazu gab's geduenstete Karrotten. Ich hab die Kinder gestern doch mit ins Fitness Studio genommen (auch, $6) aber sonst komm ich ja nicht hin, und will unbedingt noch so 10-15 pfund loswerden. Greg arbeitet zur zeit wieder mal extrem viel. (schneufz, schneufz) Muss ich halt mal wieder durch - und natuerlich wieder alleine. :(

Countertops - Kuechenplatte

endlich, die neuen Kuechenplatten sind montiert (installed) und der backsplash auch.

Mensch, vergess immer mehr von meinem deutsch! (sigh)

Am Dienstag werden dann noch die neuen Kuechengeraete installiert und dann wollen wir auch endlich mal wieder die Waende streichen lassen. Ach ja, und der Teppichboden muss auch unbedingt noch professionell gereinigt werden.

(Ich hoffe dass nicht zu viele leute, dass hier lesen, da sind bestimmt ganz viele schreibfehler!)

endlich! Die neuen schraenke sind am Donnerstag eingebaut worden. Der unten im Esszimmer muss noch fertig gemacht werden. Aber die sind richtig toll! So, in den naechsten zwei wochen sollten wir auch unsere Kueche fertig haben. Neue Geraete/Ofen, usw. und Kuechenplatte aus Granit.

ist fertig! Ist ganz gut geworden. Jetzt naehe ich ein "Babydoll" kleid fuer mich und dann will ich endlich entweder die Tasche oder den Quilt probieren. Am 28. Sept. werden unsere neuen Schraenke fuer die Kinder und die Buecherregale eingebaut und die neuen Kuechengeraete auch! Dann warten wir nur noch auf den Granit fuer die Kuechenplatten, YAHOO!!!

hab noch mal ein prinzessin kleid fuer Mina gemacht. Ist wieder etwas zu gross, und habs aber schon nur ne groesse 4 gemacht. Na ja, da kann sie halt reinwachsen.

Wir waren auch von Samstag bis Mittwoch in Disneyland - fuer ein drei tage parkhopper ticket.

War sehr schoen, aber auch sehr anstrengend. Am Donnerstag hat Greg dann seine neue Arbeit in Lake Las Vegas Resort angefangen.

Mina's Prinzessin/Feenkleid, das ist!

Ist ganz ok geworden, es ist ein Hemdchen, Rock und Veste. Der Rock ist etwas schwer und rutscht immer runter. Aber ist trotzdem ganz gut. Ich hab noch zwei schnittmuster, die ich probieren will!

Tja, sonst gibts nichts neues. Greg hat noch nicht von Miami gehoert, aber ich glaub da will er eigentlich gar nicht hin. Und Lake Las Vegas hat noch mal angerufen, die wollen sich nochmal mit ihm treffen und ueber Geld reden.

The Phoenician hat auch angerufen, die haben die Stelle mit einem ihrer eigenen Kuechenchefs bestezt.

Greg's Job

Greg hat gestern abend gekuendigt. Sein Executive Chef hat sich ihn zu sich bestellt fuer ein Meeting am Nachmittag und da hat er ihn gebeten, bitte zu kuendigen und dann wird er noch fuer 5 Wochen + die 4 Wochen Urlaub bezahlt. Und dass hat er natuerlich genommen.

Am Montag geht/fliegt er fuer ein Interview nach Miami - mal schaun.

ein richtig gutes Layout/Scrapbook page

Das Foto von Mina hab ich gemacht bevor wir nach Deutschland sind. Und gestern nachmittag hab ich mich dann endlich hingesetzt und gescrappt. Mein drittes LO seit wir wieder da sind und jetzt bin ich wieder richting "drin".

So, ich hab mir von ebay ein schnittmuster fuer ein Prinzessin Kostuem ersteigert, jetzt will ich mal probieren ob ich denn auch schneidern kann. Hab da so ne Idee, wenn das gut wird kann ich mehr machen und vielleicht dann auf ebay oder etsy verkaufen. Aber mal schaun, hab immer noch ein bisschen probleme mit der Naehmaschine.

Tja, und der Greg sucht immer noch arbeit, ist noch nicht mal zu nem Interview eingeladen worden. Ich hab mich fuer drei stellen beworben. Bei MGM hab ich gleich ne automatische absage bekommen, bei Wynn tun sie's noch anschaun, und beim Venetian war ich dem Employment Center - da dauerts dann wieder 3-5 Wochen bis ich von jemand hoer.

Hab die woche ne e-mail von meiner alten Brieffreundin Doris bekommen.

Bei einem schlimmen Busunfall am 18. Juni sind ihre Eltern ums Leben gekommen.

Mir fehlen irgendwie die Worte, es ist einfach unglaublich traurig.

Es erinnert mich aber wieder daran, das Leben richtig zu geniessen, man weiss nie wann es vorbei ist.

Wie kann es sein, dass ich fuer dass vierte Jahr an der Reihe schlechtes Wetter bei meinem Besuch in Detwang hab?????
Na ja, war trotzdem schoen mal wieder daheim zu sein!
Wie die Kinder doch alle gewachsen sind.
Dieses Jahr haben wir alle ziemlichen Jet Lag, wir sind die dritte Nacht um 3 Uhr frueh aufgewacht. Ich will endlich mal wieder richtig lang schlafen.
Greg hat Angst vielleicht seine Arbeit zu verlieren, und ich hab heute zwei Job applications ausgefuellt - ach ja und hab ihm auch ne neue Arbeit fuer August beim Universum bestellt.
Mal schaun ob es klappt.
